Redland City Council is extending its partnership with Queensland-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company TechnologyOne, implementing new solutions and processes to streamline day-to-day operations and a modern customer-facing digital experience to help its 1100 staff deliver better services and engagement for its 163,732 residents.
TechnologyOne will play an integral role in Redland City Council’s digital transformation through the implementation of OneCouncil, a single integrated solution to manage their finances and rateable properties that is accessible anywhere, anytime from a web browser, giving the team more agility to better support the needs of the community.
OneCouncil will consolidate, simplify and integrate the council’s core business systems requirements from multiple legacy systems into one, to deliver a better experience for their customers and employees, enhance their services and operations through greater automation, and drive more timely, data-driven insights and decisions. It will also house the council’s critical data in a secure onshore Australian data centre.
As part of the multi-year contract, the council will also adopt a new citizen-centric digital experience – TechnologyOne’s innovative Digital Experience Platform (DxP LG), making the council available 24/7 for residents via a superior online experience that is easy to use and intuitive.
TechnologyOne’s Enterprise Asset Management will also support Council’s oversight of assets worth a combined $3 billion, helping it better manage capital works projects as information flows from project inception to a centralised capture of expenses, the asset build, workforce finance costs, construction completion and finally, the financial depreciation of the asset.
